Ever since i did that, my belkin router will not broadcast its SSID unless i turn on another virtual id with it. otherwise it just does'nt broadcast. 27/01/2014 · I have a Belkin N600DB (F9K1102) wireless router. The built-in firmware STINKS! I know that I can't put DD-WRT or OpenWRT on it, but does anyone know of a replacement firmware for this thing? I'd like to try and salvage it if possible. Specifically I'm looking for a wait to turn up the RX/TX gain to get a greater range. Anyone have any DD-WRT may only support 2.4GHz but the Tomato link at the bottom (Shibby's Tomato) supports both bands simultaneously as well as adding multiple SSID's (guest ID's, VLAN's, etc). DD-WRT is only used to get this ready to load Tomato. DD-WRT may have been upgraded to support dual band but I don't use it enough to really know. Sorry.
